How Quotehouse works.

Makers post bids backed by USDG or asks backed by Stock Tokens. Takers choose an available quote and review its exact terms before sending a transaction.

Orders and capital

A bid locks USDG sufficient to buy its full NVDA Stock Token quantity at the quoted price. An ask locks NVDA Stock Tokens. Orders show remaining size, price and expiry. There is no passive yield: a maker may earn a spread only if its buy and sell quotes both fill at favourable prices.

The contract charges no separate protocol fee. Network transaction fees still apply.

Fills

A taker selects one order and a quantity up to its remaining size. The contract checks expiry, available size and the taker's maximum spend or minimum proceeds. The two assets transfer in one transaction; a failed check reverts the full fill.

Orders may be partially filled. Remaining escrow stays assigned to the original maker until filled or cancelled.

Prices

The maker sets each price; it is an executable offer, not an official Stock Token valuation. Quotehouse does not use an oracle or enforce a reference-price band. Takers should compare quotes independently before accepting them. Makers choose an expiry and can cancel an unfilled remainder at any time, but a quote may be filled before cancellation confirms.

Example figures on the landing page and launch video are not live offers or market activity.

Control and exits

A maker may cancel its unfilled remainder and withdraw the corresponding escrow, including after an order expires. The contract owner cannot redirect maker escrow, but can enable or disable supported assets.

Risks and availability

  • A maker's quote may become unfavourable as market prices or corporate-action multipliers change. One side may fill without the other, leaving a maker with inventory that changes in value.
  • No oracle checks a quote against an external market price. A taker can overpay or sell below market by accepting a poor quote. Smart-contract defects, wrong token configuration and network failures can cause loss. Quotehouse has not been audited.
  • Stock Tokens are debt securities providing economic exposure, not shares or shareholder rights. Eligibility and geographic restrictions apply.
  • Stock Token trading capabilities vary by asset and session. Onchain transfers may remain possible when primary-market minting or conventional trading is unavailable.
